The St. George’s Church Foundation’s annual Feast of St. George, also known as the Mechoui, is normally held on the first Saturday of the month of June. Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic and the restrictions that have been wisely imposed by the government, this important annual event will be postponed to a later date when the risks associated with the virus are resolved. At this time, the month of September is a possibility for a special harvest edition of the annual Feast which is an important fund raising event in support of the Foundation’s ongoing task of restoring and maintaining Drummondville’s oldest standing church and its surroundings which include the cemetery where sleeps much of the history of the early settlement.
Tickets sold by the Board of Directors or at the event itself.
